Platform & Carrier Enhancements

As a warehouse packer, I want to scan a barcode for a packaging type (e.g. “A3 Bag”) during packing, So that the pack screen automatically sets the packaging type and selects the cheapest available shipping method based on that packaging and the destination. Current Pain Point Packers currently need to manually: • select the correct packaging type, and • compare rates to choose the best option This adds time, increases errors, and creates inconsistency across the packing process. Proposed Workflow 1. Packer scans a packaging barcode (e.g. A3 Bag) 2. WMS/StarShipIt automatically sets the Packaging field on the pack screen 3. WMS/StarShipIt automatically selects the cheapest eligible shipping rate based on: • the selected packaging type • destination (e.g. Auckland vs Christchurch) • available carrier services and rates Example Scenarios • Scan: A3 Packaging → Destination: Auckland → Auto-select NZC Package/Local (or NZ Post Local/Package) if it is the lowest cost option • Scan: A3 Packaging → Destination: Christchurch → Auto-select NZC A3 if it is cheaper than NZ Post for that route/service Acceptance Criteria (Suggested) • Scanning a packaging barcode updates the packaging selection on the pack screen automatically • The system selects the lowest-cost shipping method from the available rates that match the packaging • Packers can still manually override the selected shipping method if required • If no valid rates are available for the scanned packaging, the system shows a clear error/message and does not auto-select a method

As a merchant, I want the flexibility to add additional couriers beyond my plan’s included limits for a small additional fee, So that I can scale my shipping setup without being forced to upgrade to a much higher pricing tier. Context / Problem There is currently a significant pricing jump between plan tiers. For example: • Professional: $200 AUD per month with up to 4 carriers • Enterprise: $550 AUD per month For merchants who only need a small number of additional couriers, upgrading tiers is not cost-effective—especially when they are already paying for other add-ons such as Landed Cost, Mobile Pick and Pack, or WMS. Proposed Outcome Allow merchants to purchase additional courier slots as an optional add-on, enabling: • Greater flexibility without forced tier upgrades • Fairer pricing aligned to actual courier usage • Easier scaling as shipping needs evolve

As a merchant using NZ Post for domestic and international shipping, I want all NZ Post integrations (Domestic, Express, and International) to count as a single carrier for plan limit purposes, So that I can use the full range of NZ Post services without unnecessarily consuming multiple carrier slots and still add other domestic or international carriers when needed. Current Problem Currently, NZ Post Domestic, NZ Post Express, and NZ Post International are treated as three separate carrier integrations. This means: • On Starter/Plus, merchants cannot use all NZ Post services together • On Professional/Plus, using all NZ Post integrations consumes 3 of the 4 available carrier slots, leaving little flexibility to add other carriers This is not ideal for merchants who rely on NZ Post as a primary carrier but still require additional domestic or international courier options. Proposed Solution Since NZ Post is a single carrier, all NZ Post integrations should be grouped and treated as one carrier for plan limitation purposes. Expected Outcome • Merchants can enable all NZ Post services without penalty • Carrier slots are used more fairly and logically • Merchants are not forced into higher pricing tiers solely to unlock additional carrier slots • Greater flexibility to add supplementary domestic or international carriers as business needs evolve

Support the ability to import the order with ATL options on checkout

I would like to import the currency the customer checked out in to Starshipit.

Have an option to disable writeback for Unleashed orders. Would like the orders to go from ‘placed' to ‘processing’ rather than complete.

Currently Auto import runs every 20 minutes. Would be a great addition to have a drop down option for this time range, say to change it from a list of options such as: 20 minute interval 60 minute interval 120 minute interval 180 minute interval Reason: To ensure that orders are correctly up to date with any possible changes that could have been made to them in the source system they are importing from. With a 20 minute interval this is too fast for any changes that could be made to the orders in the source system. With 2 hour interval you can be sure that orders from before the last hour are at their most up to date state to be imported to Starshipit.

The customer would like the auto import window to be customizable, as it's currently too large. Ideally, they want the auto import to occur every minute.

As a user I would like to see the costs on a dashboard for each of the orders

For some of our commercial clients we need to have the signed proof of delivery which is PDF document we can access through the Australia Post Merchant Portal. It would save us ALOT of time if we could get this attached to the consignment in Starshippit.
