Starshipit Order Status's: On-Hold
Alex
It would be helpful to have a way to put order's "on hold" in Starshipit. In the case that you accidentally print the order you can't then remove it so it would be good to have a "on hold area" to keep orders until you are ready to use them.
As an example, I print all my labels, I go to pack them and realise I don't have the stock. What should I do with the order in the meantime?

Thanks for your feedback! ⭐️ You can do something similar by tagging orders (e.g. "on hold") and then creating a view that filters them out.
To set this up:
- Tag your orders (e.g. "on hold")
- In the filter bar, choose "Exclude" > "Tags" > select your tag
- Click "Save as view", give it a name, and save
You’ll now have a view that hides those tagged orders. You can switch between views anytime from the dropdown on the left of the filter bar.
You can learn more about creating and using views in this article: https://support.starshipit.com/hc/en-us/articles/8252689711887-Set-up-the-Starshipit-dashboard-to-suit-your-workflow-UI-2-0

Shauni My comment below still stands though, when you reload the page you have to select this view everytime, can we make it the default view when the page loads?
Shauni
Rhys Evans - Great suggestion! I'll take a look into it :)

I have created a seperate request for this feature so it's easier to track: https://feedback.starshipit.com/ui-20-feedback/p/pre-selecting-a-default-view
For anyone else who is also interested in this, please feel free to add your vote!

We currently use tags to do this in the new UI2 - If we could have filters allow to have the opposite, EG. do not show orders that have tag PREORDER and also be able to save a default view this would be solved!
Each time you load starshipit the default view "Orders to ship" (without preorder tags) would load and you would be golden

It would be good to be able to tag orders using the rules engine. I.e orders in X postcode range get Y tag.
