WooCommerce Update: Shipment Tracking Plugin support and more!
We have released a number of changes to our WooCommerce Latest Version 3 integration including:
Added the ability to import Signature Required and Authority To Leave
- We already supported this on the Legacy Version 2 integration, and have now added support on Latest Version 3. See the guide here for further information setting this up.
Added a new writeback method
We now support a brand new method of updating tracking inWooCommerce. This method allows you to use the WooCommerce Shipment Tracking Plugin. The plugin adds tracking fields into WooCommerce as there are no native fields on WooCommerce.
By using the plugin to add these fields, you can setup other third-party integrations with WooCommerce (like Amazon, eBay and The Iconic) to read from these fields for the purpose of updating tracking details back into those platforms when an order is shipped.
Here's an example of how a shipped order will look with the plugin:

To use the Shipment Tracking Plugin with Starshipit.
- First you need to install the plugin. Refer to this page for how to purchase and install the plugin (it's only $49 per year!)
- In Settings > Integrations > WooCommerce ensure you are using the Latest Version 3API version of the integration.
- Scroll down and from the Writeback Methoddropdown selectUpdate using Shipment Tracking plugin
- Click Save
Please note: The
Update using Shipment Tracking plugin
writeback method only supports adding tracking details of one package back into WooCommerce.
