You can now control who pays duties, taxes and fees for international Australia Post shipments.
Choose from:
- Receiver pays on arrival
- Sender pays with Zonos
- Sender pays with a tax ID
Set a default for all countries, then add different rules for the European Union or individual destinations. Country-specific rules take priority automatically.
Australia Post currently supports sender-paid duties through verified Zonos accounts for US shipments. The tax ID option can be used where an appropriate registration applies, such as IOSS for eligible EU shipments. Australia Post is still confirming sender-paid options for other destinations, including the UK, Canada and Norway. For destinations without a confirmed arrangement, select Receiver pays on arrival.
