UPS: Third-party duty billing
You can now charge UPS duties and taxes to a third-party account, including setups such as Zonos, instead of billing them to the sender account. This makes it easier to support cross-border workflows where duties need to be charged separately.
- Set up: Go to Settings > Couriers > UPS > Advancedand enter the third-party duty and tax billing details, then click Save.

DHL Express: Proforma invoices
DHL Express shipments can now use a Proforma invoice instead of a Commercial Invoice. This is useful for samples and other shipments that need proforma customs documentation.
- Set up: Go to Settings > Couriers > DHL Express > Advanced > Customs Invoiceand chooseProforma, then click Save.

Australia Post APGL and DHL eCommerce: DDP option in New Orders
You can now select DDP directly in New Orders for supported Australia Post APGL and DHL eCommerce services. This makes it easier to confirm duties-paid shipments before printing.

- In New Orders, choose an eligible service and select the DDP option before creating the shipment.

Freightways: Multiple dangerous goods lines
Starshipit now supports multiple dangerous goods lines in a single Freightways shipment. This helps when one order contains more than one dangerous goods type and needs more accurate documentation.

- Continue using your dangerous goods rules and shipment data as normal.

Shopify: Product data improvements
Starshipit now retrieves Shopify product customs descriptions, plus product variant weight, weight unit, and barcode data. This improves customs data quality and helps keep product information more accurate across shipping and fulfilment workflows.
- To use customs descriptions, add a value to the Shopify product customs_descriptioncustom field for the relevant products.
- Variant weight, weight unit, and barcode data are retrieved automatically where available.
- No additional Starshipit setup is required.

Extensiv (3PL Central): Import improvements
Starshipit now supports bin locations, HS codes, and country of origin fields in the Extensiv integration. Tracking data handling has also been improved. Together, these changes help warehouse teams with picking workflows and reduce manual customs data entry for international shipments.

- Set up: Make sure bin locations, HS codes, and country of origin are populated in Extensiv. Starshipit will import and use those fields where supported.

Webhook timestamps now use courier event time
Webhook timestamps now reflect the courier event time rather than the batch processing time. This gives downstream systems more accurate event timing for integrations and reporting.
