Currently when using table-rates you can enter in numerical postcodes, and this works fine.

However, when you enter in a postcode which includes letters, then the table-rate is unable to filter postcodes based on this.

This is important for UK and other European postcodes as they utilise letters, and spaces.

For example:

"N2 9RY" or "SW1A 2AB"
