To support our ongoing growth, a direct integration with AMS would eliminate severe blind spots. Currently, Asendia is acting as our middle man, causing international bound articles to "go dark" before leaving the country. Courier partner scans are failing to reflect back to orders with the Starshipit system, leaving customer service team members, the warehouse team, and customers unable to track orders easily early on. Moving directly to AMS, cutting out Asendia, would be ideal as they provide customs clearance, as well as lanes into Canada and into the US via Express consignments and better visibility.
Tracking webhooks from AMS into Starshipit will greatly improve our customer service and warehouse operations. As it currently stands, label creation and intake scans aren't writing back into the Starshipit system due to the lack of support. We would prefer if there was visibility in this stage to gain customer satisfaction and reduce overall operational friction.
Furthermore, the data that a direct integration would produce could allow us to create a reliable monthly report, evaluate carrier performance, better keep track of workflows and help us flag any inconsistencies.
